China: Iron ore fines prices edge higher d-o-d, near $100/t mark

Iron ore fines (Fe 62%) spot prices rose marginally by $0.5/t to $99.95/t CFR China on 15 Apr’25. Chinese portside prices inched higher, supported by limited but regular buying interest from mills, while seaborne lump premiums held flat. Macroeconomic uncertainty and strong supply kept mills cautious, with their focus more on cost-effectiveness than volume.
