Tokyo Steel has adjusted its scrap procurement prices for the second time this month, effective 9 Apr’25. The last price revision was on 3 Apr’25. Prices remained stable across all plants, except at Tahara and Nagoya, where they rose by JPY 1,000/t ($7/t) and JPY 1,500/t ($10/t), respectively. Revised H2 prices were as follows:
- Tahara: JPY 43,000/t ($293/t)
- Nagoya: JPY 42,000/t ($286/t)
