Japan: Tokyo Steel cuts scrap procurement prices by JPY 500/t ($3/t) at Kyushu plant

Tokyo Steel has adjusted scrap procurement prices for the first time this month, effective 21 May’25. Prices remain unchanged at all plants except Kyushu, where tags fell by up to JPY 500/t ($3/t). Post-revision, H2 scrap prices are at JPY 40,500/t ($281/t) at the Kyushu plant.
