China: Steel billet prices remain firm d-o-d

  • Steel billet prices in China’s Tangshan stayed steady d-o-d at RMB 3,080/t ($424/t), including 13% VAT.
  • Stability in raw material, finished steel prices and rebar futures have supported billet prices.
  • SHFE rebar futures (May’25) remained largely stable d-o-d at RMB 3,208/t ($442/t) on 27 Mar.
