World crude steel production decreases over 3% y-o-y in Feb’25: WSA

As per the World Steel Association (WSA), the 69 countries that report to it experienced a 3.4% y-o-y drop in crude steel production to 144.7 mnt in Feb’25.

• China’s output declined by 3.3% y-o-y to 78.9 mnt.
• India’s production rose by 6.3% y-o-y to 12.7 mnt.
• Japan’s production dropped by 8.5% y-o-y to 6.4 mnt.
