Brazil: Iron ore exports decline 10% y-o-y in Feb’25

Brazil’s iron ore exports dropped 10% y-o-y to 25.4 mnt in Feb’25 from 28.2 mnt in Feb’24, according to customs data.
Meanwhile, volumes fell by 18% m-o-m from 30.9 mnt in Jan’25.
The average export price of iron ore from Brazil stood at $67.6/t FOB in Feb’25, down significantly from $95.9/t FOB in Feb’24.
