China: Steel prices drop by RMB 20/t ($3/t) amid market uncertainity

Tangshan, China billet prices dipped by RMB 20/t ($3/t) to RMB 3,020/t ($417/t) on 10 Mar’25 against 7 Mar, including 13% VAT.
Fall in finished steel prices, rebar futures along with limited buying interest have weighed on billet prices.
SHFE rebar futures (May’25) decreased by RMB 50/t ($7/t) to RMB 3,220/t ($445/t) on 10 Mar against 7 Mar.
