Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d on 28 Feb’25. According to BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) stood at INR 33,200/t ($380/t) ex-yard. Yesterday, the region experienced moderate trading activity for semi-finished and finished steel, coupled with steady buying interest for scrap. Consequently, scrap suppliers kept their prices stable today.
