Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) has signed a three-year Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with NMDC for iron ore supply to Vizag Steel Plant, sources informed BigMint. In CY’24, RINL sourced around 6.4 mnt of iron ore from NMDC. The steelmaker requires 0.6 mnt/month of iron ore for its blast furnace operations. NMDC’s production reached 36 mnt till Jan’25 in the ongoing fiscal.
