BigMint’s weekly iron ore concentrate index was assessed at around INR 4,900/tonne (t) ($58/t) exw-Jabalpur, a decrease of INR 50/t ($1/t) from the previous assessment on 21 December, 2024.
BigMint’s daily assessed billet index fell by INR 300/tonne (t) d-o-d to INR 39,000/t exw-Raipur on 24 December.
Sponge iron prices dropped by INR 100-600/t d-o-d across locations on 24 December. PDRI prices were assessed at around INR 23,300-26,800/t at the close of trading today, while CDRI tags were at INR 26,000-30,800/t.
