Brazil: Iron ore exports rise by 7% y-o-y in Nov’24

Brazil’s iron ore exports rose 7% to 33.7 mnt in Nov’24 compared to 31.4 mnt in Nov’23, as per customs data.
However, volumes decreased by 5% m-o-m as against 35.3 mnt in Oct’24.
The average price of iron ore shipped from Brazil stood at $68.7/t FOB in Nov’24, down compared to $81.6/t FOB in the same month last year.
