NMDC will auction 272,000 t of iron ore – 176,000-t fines (Fe 53.54-63.08%) and 96,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 62.05-63.18%) – on 28 Nov’24 from its Kumaraswamy mines, Karnataka. Floor prices are yet to be declared. In NMDC’s previous auction, on 19 Nov’24, 144,000-t lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 61.41-63.99%) and 180,000-t fines (Fe 54.89-64.42%) were booked at INR 5,333-6,688/t and INR 2,889-5,835/t, respectively (including royalty, DMF, and NMET).
