SAIL-Salem Steel Plant (SSP) concluded a reverse auction for 4,200 t of high-carbon (HC) ferro chrome (Cr: 57-63%, C: 5-8%, 10-70 mm) on 24 Aug’24, which was booked, with the L1 price at INR 115,400/t FOR (excluding GST and GEM portal charges), as per sources. HC ferro chrome (Cr: 60%, C: 8.5%, 10-150 mm) prices are at INR 106,700/t exw-Jajpur on 28 Aug’24.
