India: Tata Steel’s production, sales rise y-o-y in Q1FY’25

Tata Steel’s production rose 5% on the year to 5.27 mnt in Q1FY’25 as against 5.02 mnt in Q1FY’24, while volumes dropped 2% from 5.4 mnt in Q4FY’24. The company’s sales volumes increased 3% y-o-y to 4.94 mnt in Q1 from 4.79 mnt in the year-ago period. Meanwhile, sales fell by 9% q-o-q compared with 5.42 mnt in Q4FY’24.
