Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) conducted an auction for 3,300 t (60 kg and 52 kg, full length) of commercial rails on 11 Jul’24 from Bhilai Steel Plant (BSP) in Chhattisgarh. Buyers booked around 3,000 t of 60 kg rails at an average price of INR 44,420/t exw. Meanwhile, 200 t of 52 kg rails out of 300 t were booked at INR 70,500/t exw.
