Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL), a state owned and one of the largest producers and exporters of steel grade Pig Iron at Vizag, Andhra Pradesh floated a 30,000 tons Pig Iron export tender on the 30th of September.
A senior official confirmed, “The final date is not yet decided but due to absence of buyers, we have planned to extend the exports tender date again”.
There was no response from international buyers on the 3rd October due to weak demand and low prices of Pig Iron in international market.
The date was extended to the 15th of October previously. Pig Iron buyers are cautious to conclude any new deal presently.
