Steel Authority of India Ltd (SAIL) conducted an auction for 7,720 t of iron ore lumps (10-50 mm, Fe 61% – indicative) from its Barsua mines, Odisha on 28 May’24. According to sources, the entire quantity of lumps got booked at base price of INR 5,750/t. Prices are on FOR loaded into rake basis and inclusive of royalty, DMF, NMET and extra premium.
