Kerala State Industrial Enterprise (KSIE) was set up as a holding company of Government of Kerala under the industries department. The company issued a global tender for purchase of 300,000 MT imported pozzolana portland cement in Kerala. The offer is valid for 1 year from the date of opening.
Eligibility criteria
1. Bidder should be an Indian company, group of Indian companies (incorporated before 2013) or consortium with a foreign company involved in manufacturing / trading and importing of pozzolana portland cement.
2. Bidder should have valid PAN, CST registration, import export code and central excise registration.
3. Annual turnover for the last three years of the bidder should not be less than INR 300 crore.
4. Bidder need to submit the test results for standard consistency, initial and final setting time and compressive strengths from Government Engineering colleges within India or Government accredited agencies, which should be obtained not earlier than 3 months.
5. Bidder needs to produce the supporting documents regarding availability of cement for supply from manufacturer.
6. Bidder needs to submit the 5 kg of cement as a sample, along with test analysis report after the bid opening.

Another ‘Government of Kerala Undertaking’ company TCL issues purchase tender for 6,000 MT ordinary portland cement
The Travancore Cements Limited (TCL) is the only manufacturer, perhaps in the whole world, producing white cement from a raw material other than conventional limestone. The company invited a global tender for purchase of 6,000 MT ordinary portland cement. The offer is valid for 120 days from the date of opening and the same rates shall be firm for supply for the entire quantity ordered.
