Pellet (Fe 63%) prices in Bellary, Karnataka remained flat at INR 10,550/t exw on 14 May’24 compared to 10 May. Deals of around 10,000 t were concluded at INR 10,500-10,600/t in this publishing window. Decline in sponge prices has raised concern in the region. Notably, sponge (P-DRI) prices fell by INR 1,000/t w-o-w to INR 28,000/t exw today.
