Hike in power prices in U.P will increase the Ingot production cost by Rs 1200 per tonne – Says manufacturer

Uttar Pradesh has recently increased the power tariff
by 25-30% w.e.f. 1^st Oct that increases the Ingot cost by Rs.
1200 says Ingot manufacturer based in U.P. Earlier it cost Rs. 4.25 per unit
average and now it will cost Rs.5.5 says manufacturer. State has not opened the ingot price after new power tariff announced. Ghaziabad
last traded Ingot was at Rs. 32500++ Friday.

Local rolling mills are buying Ingot from Raigarh at 30,000++, Rourkela at 29600++ at a premium price of Rs.300-400
