Vedanta Limited had an auction for 16,000 t of iron ore lumps (10-40 mm, Fe 55%) from its A.Narrain Mines, Karnataka, on 30 Apr’24. According to sources, 12,000 t of iron ore lumps got booked at a base price of INR 3,700/t. The price is on ex-mines/ex-lot basis and exclusive of royalty, DMF and NMET.
