HMS (80:20) prices were assessed at INR 37,500/t ($450/t) exy. “There are only 20-25 plots actively working, each with ships for breaking in Alang, resulting in shortage of scrap in the market,” sources informed. But buyers are actively purchasing material, prompting suppliers to increase offers.
