Major merchant miners in Odisha have kept iron ore prices unchanged as of now. Inventory of fines to increase due to low bookings.
Amid stability in sponge iron prices, Odisha merchant iron ore miners have kept iron ore prices unchanged as of now. As per market sources, iron ore bookings have been good in the recent past over which merchant miners are holding the iron ore prices for now.
While talking to Odisha merchant iron ore miners, SteelMint assessed that bookings for lump have been decent but fines booking remain weak as majority of eastern India based pellet plants have closed sales over mute demand. In purview of stable market any revision in iron ore prices by Odisha miners is unlikely to happen in the immediate term.
