Hebei Iron and Steel (HBIS) group has confirmed its procurement rates for ferro silicon (Si:72%) at RMB 6,600/t ($912/t) DAP, including taxes for Apr’24 deliveries. This marks a decline of RMB 150/t ($21/t) m-o-m and the bidding volume also fell by 124 t m-o-m to 1,516 t. Current market prices for ferro silicon (Si:75%) in China are at RMB 6,500/t ($898/t) exw-Inner Mongolia.
