China’s ferro alloys production decreased at around 4% y-o-y to 5.67 mnt in Jan-Feb’24, according to National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) data. The decline in the production was attributed to the Chinese New Year holidays (CNY), due to which producers hold on to produce more to avoid stockpiling.
