Ship-breaking melting scrap prices in Alang, Gujarat, remained stable d-o-d on 15 Mar’24. As per BigMint’s assessment, HMS (80:20) prices stood at INR 33,500/t exy. The demand in semi-finished and finished was at limited level in the yesterday’s trading session in the region along with moderate trading activity in the scrap prompted suppliers to keep offers firm today.
