Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Ltd (RINL) conducted a reverse auction for 1,160 t of ferro silicon (Si:70% min, 25-50 mm) on 7 Mar’24 for its Visakhapatnam Steel Plant. The entire material was booked at around INR 136,600/t FOR (including GST and GEM portal charges). Excluding taxes, prices were at around INR 115,200/t FOR, as per sources.
