SAIL-Rourkela Steel Plant held an auction for 4,500 t of steel grade pig iron on 7 March’24. The entire quantity was booked at an average price of INR 36,800/t exw. The last auction was conducted on 6,000 t of steel grade pig iron on 2 March’24 in which the 4,800 t quantity was booked at an average price of INR 36,550/t exw.
