Odisha based merchant miner Aryan Mining & Trading Corporation has resumed iron ore sales recently. The mines were closed after the Supreme Court ordered suspension of mining activities in the state of Odisha on 16 May, 2014 running under 2nd deemed renewal.
The iron ore mines of AMTC, Narayanposi (Koira) are located in Sudergarh district of Odisha. Its iron ore production stood at 2.9 MnT in FY14. AMTC is also likely to resume iron ore mining operations shortly.
