DMG, Govt. of Goa has scheduled 14th iron ore e-auction tomorrow i.e. 24 Dec’15. 2.37 MnT iron ore will be put under hammer in 39 lots.
Major share of the offered quantity consists of ROM. The offer comprises of 2.18 MnT ROM, 0.19 MnT fines and 0.001 MnT lump. Iron ore fines that will be offered in the upcoming e-auction ranges from grade Fe 56-64%, lump ranges from grade Fe 55-60% and ROM ranges from grade Fe 27-64%.
1.94 MnT of the offered iron ore belongs to Vedanta’s Codli mine. 0.06 MnT quantity out of the offered material belongs to Bicholim mines of Vedanta.
Base price of all material type of all grades that would be offered in tomorrow’s e-auction has been fixed at INR 500/MT.
