NMDC’s steel plant in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh, conducted a steel-grade pig iron auction for a total of 60,000 t on 28 Feb’24. The whole quantity was booked at an average price of INR 34,350/t. In the previous auction, held on 14 Feb’24, 30,000 t quantity of pig iron was booked at an average price of INR 34,900/t.
