NMDC’s steel plant in Nagarnar, Chhattisgarh, conducted a steel-grade pig iron auction for a total of 30,000 t on 13 Feb’24. The whole quantity was booked at an average price of INR 34,900/t. In the previous auction, held on 30 Jab’24, 23,500 t of pig iron was booked at an average price of INR 35,750/t.
