The Indian Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has granted an environmental clearance (EC) to Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd (GPIL) to enhance the iron ore pelletization capacity of the company to 4.7 mntpa from 2.7 mntpa previously at Siltara Industrial Area, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The commercial operation of the expansion plan is expected to be commissioned in Q1FY26.
