Goa based iron ore miner and exporter-Fomento Resources has resumed iron ore exports after a span of 11 months.
Fomento Resources is all set to export 92,000 MT iron ore to China. The vessel named “Honest Sky” is at anchorage at Mormugao Port.
The company had last exported 60,000 MT iron ore to China from Redi Port in Dec’14.
Iron ore exports from Goa have picked up after the miners began fresh mining operations in the state last month. Vedanta was the first company to resume iron ore exports from Goa and has already exported 260,000 MT iron ore and 2 more iron ore export vessels of 80,000 MT each are in pipeline.
