Balmer Lawrie – a market leader in steel barrels, industrial greases and specialty lubricants, corporate travel and logistics, has invited a single bid tender of 10,000 MT CR Steel Coil/Sheets. The tender is invited for multiple plants located at Navi Mumbai (Taloja), Kolkata, Silvassa, Chennai, Chittoor, and Asaoti (Faridabad). The delivery should be within Dec’15-Jan’16, as per the requirement.
The tender is limited and response from approved registered indigenous suppliers will be accepted. The other interested non-registered suppliers may register with the company and the registration shall be confirmed by the department.
If supplier fulfill all requirements of registration, supplier may consider for participating in the subsequent tenders. Price bid of such vendors will not be considered for commercial evaluation and determination of L1 rates.
The item specification mentioned in the tender document are indicative. However, the final Technical Delivery Condition (TDC) will be as per the previous approved specification or suppliers or mutually signed TDC with successful bidder. This should be based on their plant capabilities and issued with purchase order.
Item grade: Cold Rolled steel in accordance with IS-513: 2008 ’D’ quality.
The offer validity is 30 days from the tender opening date. Payment will be made from delivery location on 37th day from the invoice date.
Tender schedule: Bid submission due date and tender opening is scheduled on 9 Nov’15 at 14:00 hrs and 14:05 hrs respectively.
