DMG, Govt. of Goa has scheduled 13th iron ore e-auction for 1.35 MnT iron ore tomorrow (04 Nov’15).
Directorate of Mines & Geology (DMG), Govt. of Goa is to conduct 13th iron ore e-auction tomorrow. The offered quantity will be put under hammer in 79 lots. The offer comprises of 0.94 MnT ROM, 0.25 MnT fines and 0.16 MnT lump.

Base prices for the e-auction continue to remain stable. ROM ranging from Fe 42-61% are base priced at INR 500/MT. Lump ranging from Fe 47-63% are having base prices in the range of INR 500-660/MT. Fines ranging from Fe 45-64% will be offered in the e-auctions which are having base price in the range of INR 500-710/MT. Fines (Fe 61%) located at Codli mine is base priced at INR 500/MT.
Last month did not notice any iron ore e-auctions in Goa. In the month of Sept’15 there were 5 e-auctions through which 1.45 MnT iron ore was sold.
Out of 15.1 MnT already mined iron ore lying at mines, jetties and stock yards before imposition of mining ban in the state , DMG has managed to sell 6.85 MnT iron ore (till e-auctions held on 30 Sept’15). Thus, still around 8.25 MnT iron ore is yet to be sold.
