STC‘s global tender for purchase of 1 MnT imported steam coal on behalf of HPGCL and Jhajjar Power on High Seas Sales basis; will en-route via any port of Western Coast India.
State Trading Corporation of India Limited (STC) has invited a global tender to purchase imported Steam coal on behalf of HPGCL (Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited) and Jhajjar Power Limited. The total quantity to be purchased is to meet the operational requirement of HPGCL & Jhajjar Power Limited. Out of the total quantity, 1.5 MnT will be required by HPGCL and 8.5 MnT by JPL.
The material needed under this tender is for consumption in HPGCL’s Panipat Thermal Power Station (PTPS), Rajiv Gandhi Thermal Power Plant Khedar (RGTPP), Deenbandhu Chhotu Ram Thermal Power Project (DCRTPP) and JPL’s Mahatma Gandhi Thermal Power Plant.
Bidders qualifying criteria for participation in this tender will include supply experience of minimum 0.4 MnT imported coal during preceding 12 months during last three years reckoned from the last date of bid submission directly or through PSU’s to any Power/Cement/Steel/ Fertilizer/Industrial utilities. Annual turnover should be more than INR 200 crores.
