Steel and foundry grade Pig Iron producers in India have not considered any change in current offers as NINL, the price setter of Indian Pig Iron industry and RINL has not lowered prices at Rs 23,500/MT for Dec '12.
Tata Metaliks Ltd has quoted foundry grade Pig Iron prices at Rs 29,700/MT for Durgapur and discount of Rs 800/MT is also being given to few of the customers.
A couple of other plants based in Durgapur, West Bengal reduced prices by Rs 200/MT to Rs 24,000/MT for steel grade and to Rs 27,800/MT (Basic) for foundry grade.
Steel grade Pig Iron is being traded at Rs 200/MT low to Rs 23,300/MT (Ex Cuttack) by Mesco Steel.
