Major steelmakers in China have increased the HRC export prices to be offered in South Korea.
Currently the price for HRC stands in the range of $570-575/MT (FOB) with an increase in prices by $5-10/MT for the material to be delivered in January.
Considering the price increase, traders in South Korea prefer to wait and watch with no further movements in trade activities.
