1. 30,000 tons steel grade Pig Iron exports tender floated by NINL and RINL each fetched low bids.
2. NINL cancelled the tender and RINL extended date to Dec 20.
3. Pig Iron was offered at same prices by almost all the manufacturers due to slow down in buying of final products.
4. Prices slipped in a couple of places such as Jharsuguda by Rs 200/MT (steel grade) and Rs 500/MT (foundry grade) and in Durgapur by Rs 300/MT (foundry grade).
5. During the next week, some movement might be seen in Pig Iron prices as NINL is to review the current steel grade Pig Iron offers standing at Rs 23,500/MT (Basic) on Dec 17.
