Exports of Pig Iron from Ukraine slowed down as sellers from the Black Sea met with increase in input cost.
Upward movement in prices of the raw materials, iron ore and scrap resulted in high cost of production.
It was heard that one of the Ukrainian mill sold 10,000 mt of December output Pig Iron.
Pig Iron buyers based in Turkey were ready to make imports at $380/MT CFR Turkish Ports, before the hike in scrap offers to $390/MT CFR.
