Billet manufacturers are already making offers at quite low levels and any further discounts are not feasible currently.
“Some of the buyers are looking for discounts of Rs 100-200/MT on current offers due to the downward movement in prices for sometime now. The price gap in ingot and Billet is also seen to increase slowly”, said traders.
Change in Billet prices at various locations: At Rourkela and Kandla, offers rise by Rs 200/MT. Whereas, prices drop by the same at Durgapur and by Rs 100/MT in Jaipur and Hyderabad.
