Indian structure demand remain high as trading felt across state

After touching the lowest level of the year in
Nov-12 structure prices finally shows improvement in India.  High ingot
prices and improved finish demand across state keep the momentum going. Mumbai
quickly increase structure prices up to Rs 800/T in a week time, offers of 40
Angle is Rs 35,700/T(Basic price). Similarly Raipur structure prices increase
in range of 500-700/T, 200 Beam traded at Rs.  33600/T (Basic price)

A native manufacturer from Durgapur says that we
are getting a regular order of 200-300/T on an daily average. He also confirmed
that material is selling 25-30% to Assam and 35-40% to Jharkhand and Bihar”. 40
Angle is being traded at Rs 40,500-41,000/T (Including all) in Durgapur.

Market
participant expect demand to remain as Dec to April period construction
activity remains high.
