Orissa Mining Corp, a state owned iron ore miner based in Odisha have fetched higher bids for its iron ore in fourth quarter, said market sources.
“In latest tender for iron ore floated by OMC, there were better response compared to last quarter due to improving steel market in India. Bids were as high as Rs 500-700 per tonne from last quarter. Major participants were Monnet Ispat, Raigarh, Prakash Industries, Champa, Aarti sponge, Raipur” said one of the participant in latest tender.
