Central India ingot/billet prices move up further as finish demand from South increase

Steel prices in Central India continued to move up on improved demand ,low inventories and also positive cues from global market.

Prices moved up sharply in last couple of days. MS ingot at Raipur trades at Rs 29,700/t (Basic) up by 300-400/t, Raigarh at Rs 29,600/t (Basic, Regular Payment), and Durgapur at Rs 34,500/t (including all), 

Indian steel futures MCX and NCDEX both showed an upward trend with gaining 200-300 points in the last day.

'Finish demand from south India has increased, we are not able to meet delivery due to lack in vehicle' said TMT Mftg based in Raipur
