Pig Iron producers in India lower offers up to Rs 1,100/MT this week

Pig Iron (steel) prices fall up to Rs 1,100/MT in a week's time – Ctc (Mesco) Rs 800/MT, Rourkela Rs 600/MT, Giridih and Bokaro Rs 500/MT and Maharashtra Rs 200/MT due to price cut by major players.

RINL extends date of opening export tender price bid to Jan 5, 2013 looking at some improvement in Indian steel demand and prices.

NINL has offered a total of 60,000 tons Pig Iron to buyers in international market, price bid of which is to open on Jan 9, 2013.

In the next week, RINL is anticipating response of Rs 20,500 for the open tender floated in domestic market.
