Benchmark iron ore Fe62% fines prices rose by $2.05/t d-o-d to $123.7/t CFR China on 28 Mar’23. Prices increased on the back of strong buying activity amid improved import margins. Several medium-grade fines deals were heard concluded. Trading at the portside was limited because buying from the seaborne market was more cost-effective and steel mills purchased on need basis.
