OMC’s chrome ore auction conducted today from its South Kaliapani and Sukrangi chromite mines in Odisha received a good response. Out of 32,200 t put up for auction, 24,100 t were booked and high-grade material (54%) fetched a premium of 35% over the base price. Sources informed that limited quantity of high grade ore was auctioned off and two grades saw aggressive bidding.
