Indian steel producers might raise their export offers for HRC in line with rising prices in Chinese and CIS market in last one month, mention market participants.
“Last offers from Indian producers for HRC, 2.5mm were heard at $580-590/t, FOB India West Coast to European and Middle East buyers. Since Chinese and Japanese offers have moved up to $590-610/t FOB, Indian exporters might also raise their offers to $600-610 FOB.”said an executive to one of the steel producing company based in West India.
HRC prices in CIS, US and European countries have also increased on rising iron ore and scrap prices in last one month.
