India: CIL achieves highest ever production till date in current fiscal

Coal India Ltd. achieved the highest ever coal production in any fiscal on 2 Mar’23. The miner produced 624.8 mnt of coal, an increase of 14.3% y-o-y, exceeding the last highest figure of 622.6 mnt in FY22. It is expected that CIL is well on its way to achieving the production target of 700 mnt in FY23.
